ABOUT US
The Ossining Jazz Festival was established in 2016 to give greater exposure to America’s indigenous art form; an art form in which improvisation is principal in its performance. The mission will be to curate and present all genres of jazz music through various collaborations and partnerships. OJF will use this unique aesthetic of solo and collective improvisation as a metaphor to bring our diverse community together as one. OJF will work to create a time and space where this music can be shared, celebrated and learned by young musicians, residents of the Ossining community and beyond. What was a two day event in 2017, it's inaugural year, will look to grow into a week long event in the years to come.
